  • First of all I want to say I am so Sorry to hear that! Tell him the truth! My daughter is now 3 and her grandfather died just before she was 2 and she still remembers him! She said just the other day, "My Grandpa died" WE said yes he did! Then I asked her if she remembers him she said "cookies". He taught her how to dunk cookies in milk. Memories are a beautiful thing to cherish!

  • omg i am so sorry for you. i remember my cousins mother died when she was young like that and she looked at me and asked for her mom. i don't think i even answered her i just didn't know what to say. hes in heaven if your religious. god need him in heaven. make it sugar coated but make sure he understands he isn't coming back. maybe a picture he can look at and hold would be a good idea.
