what do you think of ground up turkey meat?

  • We always use it instead of Hamburger. It's a little bland, so it usually requires more spices, but it's a lot cheaper and a little healthier.

  • it's ok in some stuff, like tacos. But I don't like the texture in other things like meatloaf or dishes that focus on texture.

  • I use ground turkey breast. It is lean and high in protein. It doesn't taste like ground beef, but it is good. If you use ground turkey, you are also getting dark meat and skin, so be sure to check the amount of fat.

  • It's the only thing I use. I usually add Worcester sauce to give it more of a beef flavor.

  • We were on a ground turkey kick for a while. Cheaper and better for you. The smell and texture started to get to me after a while. It was then bannned from my household.
