  • Make sure she has a good high protein breakfast with whole grain carbs. Such as eggs with whole grain toast and fruit or juice, or oatmeal with raisins and a glass of milk and an orange. A good protein serving will energize her and make her feel more alert.

  • You also need to talk to her teacher so that s/he (teacher) can minimize distractions and help your daughter refocus as needed.
