Has your baby ever had one eye that was dilated?

My 4 yr old husky has one pupil that is dilated (sp?) She is acting normal but we live on a farm where she roams..so I'm wondering. I took her to my vet today and all they did was check her heart, breathing and look in her ears. I'm taking her to another vet tomorrow, but I was just curious if anyone else has had this happen. What could it be?

  • A dilated pupil is usually evidence of brain or eye injury.

  • Yep! brain injury, eye injury, even poisoning can be the cause but definately get that checked out!
