trouble pooping

my little girl is 6 months old and she is having really big poops which is making her butt bleed and it's hurting her alot, is there anything I can do to help her?

  • I give my LO prunes or prune juice. And She poops alot

  • you could also try Karo Syrup in her bottle, 1 teaspoon full twice a day. This is what the doctor told me to use for my son.

  • I also use prune juice...either separate or mixed in with a bottle. Using the prune juice separately though seems to work better.

  • I used the pureed prunes at breakfast. . . works like magic. . . also might want to add a little juice/water into the diet for more hydration. When she is older and starts eating yogurts I'd suggest Stoneyfield organics. I use the unflavored (mix in my own fruit purees). It has all those good probiotics.
