What to do?

My daughter is eating like every 2 hours. 6 ozs. Should I start her on a lil cereal?

  • I would talk to your Dr. some will allow cereal at a young age if they are eating to much formula, also is she hungry or just wanting to suck on something all the time? Some kids have a strong sucking desire and need something in there mouth all the time, have you tried a paci?

  • If she's hungry, just feed her. Compared to what my kids ate, that's not much...they were doing 6oz every 2 hours at about 3 weeks.

  • that would depend on the age and what your doctor suggest.. if your baby is under 4 months, call your doctor to ask what they suggest.. If the baby is older than 4 months, then yes you can give them cereal. Directions are found on most cans or boxes.. try using formula instead of water to mix it with so they can adjust better to the taste..
