Sauce or no sauce

Which way do your kids prefer to eat their spaghetti? I have one that always wants absolutely NO sauce. He even gets upset if the meatball has sauce on it. *lol* And the other one wants sauce. The more sauce the better. How about your kids?

  • My daughter is 12 months old and she only feeds herself. We tried giving her a little sauce, but she gets it all over her face and the acid breaks her out. My husband eats sauce with 4 noodles on top, I like mostly noodles with a little sauce. Any leftover spaghetti we have the sauce and noodles get mixed. Therefore, hubby has to eat a balance, and DD has to be fed. Everybody hates me the next day but I eat whatever, lol.

  • I give them sauce, but not too much sauce even though they prefer their spaghetti without sauce. JMO.

  • I make mine eat the sauce, it has tomato in it which is good for you :) But I do remember my daughter crying because I put sauce on her spaghetti, she was always off and on whether she wanted some or not!

  • My kids like sauce but vegetable sauce. Not meat sauce. Although they do like meatballs. So as long as the meatballs are cooked separately, but then the sauce can be cooked with the meatballs but just not in the jar originally.
