  • Doctors suggest waiting until 4-6 months and then starting with a very thin cereal mixed with formula.

  • I started my daughter on ceral mixed with formula when she was 6 months. By 7 months we were giving her ceral with with different jars of fruit babyfood mixed in it. My pediatrician recommended using only one flavor of babyfood a week that way you will know if he/she is alergic to anthing.

  • I started both my boys around 4 months on cereal and stage 1 baby food. I didn't start them on table food until 6-7 months. Talk to your pediatrician about foods to avoid (cows milk, honey, etc.).
