is it normal

ok my sister little girl is 4 months
and we think she may have an ear infection
but her doc says it looks good
when ever she gets mad or something she will grab her ears
and then start to cry
she also has been really fussy alot more then normal
anyone know wut it could be?????

  • my daughter has always grabbed her ears.. so I dunno. she may be teething?

  • the nerve ending from the teeth pass through the ones of the ears, so when babies are teething they think their ears hurt...that could be it. Have you tried teething medicine??

  • Teething the same thing was going on with my son the doctor jus said the teeth coming in bothers there ears..

  • When my son eats he grabs his ears and scratches at them. i don't think andything is wrong with them bcuz he's 6 months and he's being this since forever. you can try homeopathic teething stuff, that is chammomille, it just helps to soothe them.

  • I dont know either both my kids would grab their ears when they are tired and now little Milly is starting to do it.

  • Sounds like teething, my baby gets frustrated and runs her fingers through her hair. They all have their own calming mechanism.
