How did you deal with stretch marks after birth?

  • Once they're there --- that's it. They're there forever.

    You can get rid of the ones below your belly button with a tummy tuck... but that's about it.

  • i was almost 21 when i had my first so i just started wearing LONG shirts and NEVER showing my stomach then i had my second almost a year ago and already you can see were the first set have faded really well. so just from experience and drs advice theres not much you can do unless you spends thousands of dollars to have some sort of surgery which made no sense to me! and i lotioned/oiled/extra vitamins all the time when i was preggo!!!!

  • For a while I just didn't look at them. Now it doesn't really bother me at all. I have them on my upper thighs almost my hip area. Only my husband and I will ever see them. Just a little reminder of the time my DD and I spent together.
    I heard sunless tanning cream can mask them.

  • at 21 i too hid them till they faded a bit...i was lucky enough to just get them on my waist, now though after # 2 i really don't care that they are there! after i lose the baby weight i will show them off proudly ( if you can even see i said i consider myself lucky!
