Does anybody know of any inexpensive wedding favors that can be made by hand?

I am doing my friends wedding and she wants her wedding favors homemade, but I cannot seem to find anything. If anybody could help me out with suggestions I would appreciate it. If you give me any ideas if you could provide directions and pictures that would be helpful as well. Just something to keep in mind they need to be inexpensive. Thank you in advance.

  • We wrapped up peanuts in organza bags with a tag that said "We're NUTS about each other!"
We had an outdoor wedding BBQ style with chicken. corn on the cob, and clams, so our guests could eat the peanuts and throw the shells on the lawn.
You could do this with almonds or choc covered peanuts or something.

  • There are all sorts of templates to wrap a regular candy bar with the bride and grooms name
It is not very difficult to make homeade fancy soaps or little candles with scents
You can get some cloth that matches and either grow or buy some lavender and other herbs and make scented satchels or pillows
Do very small ivy or other plants and hand paint the pots with the wedding date or word love that people can take home (or single sprigs of ivy in shot glasses) which is also makes the centerpiece and tables look pretty.
Small mirrors hand held or just decorative etched with a glass pen top bride and grooms name, bottom says " picture of our favorite guest"
    Chocolate covered strawberrie
homeade mixes in little bags or jars for "eternal bliss" bliss chocolate chip cookies or other cute name with homeade tags
