What do you think of the name Whitney?

I've always loved the name. I'm afraid people will only ever think of Whitney Houston though. When I think of the name I picture a beautiful smart successful woman like HillaryWhitney in the movie "beaches".

  • It's okay. I think you should be able to name your child whatever you want without anyone "thinking" anything. It's your life.

  • Yeah, I thought you would be naming her after Whitney Houston. I like the name ok, but because of the timing most people will think you were naming after Whitney Houston.

  • I know I have always had this name on my list for a girl but it would be bad timing for sure.
