I'm kind of starting to believe it.
For example,(little bit of a background story)
my DH and I have been thinking about buying a second car, that is more fuel efficient than our current car. We are a one car family at the moment. We wanted to get this car just to go to work and back, because that is where most of our gas goes. A family down the street has the exact same make and model and color as the car we wanted to buy. Now this would be a big decision because we were going to buy it outright, which would take up about 70% of our total savings.
Anyhoo.....
I am not religious, but I asked the universe for a sign whether this was a good idea to buy this car. So today I was driving home, and saw that identical car down the street...... totaled.
I feel like this is a sign to me, not to buy the car.
What do you think?

No. I don't think that there's a deity that takes such a personal and minute interest in the details of my life. I don't think of the Universe as something anthropomorphic that is concerned with anyone or anything. I think it just is. I do, however, think it's important to pay attention to details and to make use of the information available to us. I'd check Consumer Reports for recommendations on best buys rather than rely on a "sign". Ask yourself why any god or anthropomorphic universe would allow someone else's vehicle to be totalled just to drop you a hint that it might not be in your best interest to get one like it.
