Do you ever believe that the universe or God (or whatever you say it is) gives you a sign to make a decision?
I'm kind of starting to believe it.
For example,(little bit of a background story)
my DH and I have been thinking about buying a second car, that is more fuel efficient than our current car. We are a one car family at the moment. We wanted to get this car just to go to work and back, because that is where most of our gas goes. A family down the street has the exact same make and model and color as the car we wanted to buy. Now this would be a big decision because we were going to buy it outright, which would take up about 70% of our total savings.
Anyhoo.....
I am not religious, but I asked the universe for a sign whether this was a good idea to buy this car. So today I was driving home, and saw that identical car down the street...... totaled.
I feel like this is a sign to me, not to buy the car.
What do you think?

To me, it's more of a feeling. If I'm stressed or confused, and something comes to mind or to my attention somehow, I will get a feeling of peace inside, and I just know the right decision. It's when I make a decision about something, without having that total peace, that I make a mistake. But yes, to answer your question, I do believe. And if I were you, I would probably take that as a sign.Found an answer to your question?

I believe that nature is a teacher and the world and people around are mirrors for us to learn about ourselves. An old friend told me that he thinks Synchronicity is an indicator that you are on the right path. I also find that the "random" thoughts - not driven by fear or hope - are the ones that likely need the most attention. Like driving down the street you out of the blue think you would like to read a bio of Alice Roosevelt and this has not been part of your radar or world at all. Since I believe that God is the energy that connects us all and moves within us, I guess you could say I do believe this...Found an answer to your question?

I don't think god is real, but if it was, it would have real problems...and not worry about crap like your specific car. How many billion people on this planet? a supreme being isn't going to single you out.Found an answer to your question?

More and intuition than a nudge. The right situations are often just placed in front of me, and mostly by people who have been praying for me. God moves me to ask for prayer and my situation spur the friends into action. It's amazing to watch this process in motion. ALLAH always guide HIS creature on right path. It is creatures who lost their right path. Surely ALLAH guided you not to buy that car, if you bough it may it is harmful for you or your husband.

I think if you ask the universe for a sign and are WILLING to receive the answer good or bad, you will get one. At least that is my experience. The key is seeing and accepting the sign without a boat load of analysis. Honestly, your seeing that car totaled is probably the sign. I know, no one else agrees. No. I don't think that there's a deity that takes such a personal and minute interest in the details of my life. I don't think of the Universe as something anthropomorphic that is concerned with anyone or anything. I think it just is. I do, however, think it's important to pay attention to details and to make use of the information available to us. I'd check Consumer Reports for recommendations on best buys rather than rely on a "sign". Ask yourself why any god or anthropomorphic universe would allow someone else's vehicle to be totalled just to drop you a hint that it might not be in your best interest to get one like it.

I would look at the condition of the car to see how it held up in a major collision. If you know the owner, find out if anyone was hurt or what caused the accident (mechanical failure?). I would put that into consideration before buying one myself.
I wouldn't see it as a sign. Cars are totaled all the time, every make and model.Found an answer to your question?
