I start insemanation in March how long should it take to get pregnant?

I know everyone is different but how long did it take others.

  • I was sucessful on the 3rd cycle using fertility meds (I actually got pregnant on the 2nd cycle also, but I miscarried). Your doctor should be able to give you an estimated sucess rate for your specific situation, but if I remember correctly the odds of sucess on a medicated and closely monitored cycle with trigger shot and well-timed iui is over 30% per cycle (the odds are lower if you go unmedicated or unmonitored).   • It took me a year and a half of IUIs and IVF. Got pregnant on the 5th IVF attempt....first one that actually had fertilized eggs that made it to embryo transfer. May you have a much easier and shorter journey to motherhood.
