If you believe in heaven....

who do you think you would see in heaven.....the physically, emotionally and mentally abusive mother who abandoned you(general you) or the daughter who spent her life living a honest life. Where she gave of her time freely to others, became a mother who loved her children unconditonally, never raising her hand to them?

The mother accepted Jesus Christ as her savior and the daughter did not.

Please explain your answer in your own words...no bible verses.

  • It's difficult to answer these kinds of questions without scripture, since the bible is why and how I believe.

  • I don't believe in "heaven" per say, I think both would enter the after life & be made aware of all of their actions and the resulting consequences to others because of them. For the daughter, this process would be relatively painless. But, for the mother, not so. She will feel & understand the pain she caused. Then both will reincarnate. That's what I believe.

    How do you reconcile that within your own mind and heart? That an abusive parent, who preyed on her iinnocent children, would go to heaven while the victims of her abuse will not? Does that sit well within your heart? If yes, HOW?
    Do you feel it's ok for an abusive person to be rewarded?

    We follow by example and lead as well! To send someone to Hell for being a good person is not what God intends to do.
    God loves us all regardless!
