  • change the baby when the diaper is wet don't let them sit in it and use desitin or A&D ointment on it to help it heal.

  • Desitin, A&D, and Bag Balm are the ones I have used.

    Also my doctor, suggested Lotrimin lotion... I haven't tried it yet though.

  • baby bottom balm by earthmamaangelbaby.com the nurses at the hospital gave me desitin.. i threw it away ... that stuff is horrible... baby bottom balm, is all organic, i love it, and it smells wonderful... my son also has never had diaper rash.. with the exception of the three days in the hospital when they were using the desitin.... i switched when we got home.. and it was gone... love it and i wrote about it in my journal

  • if its really bad you can use aveeno oatmeal bath, works wonders. just let them sit in a tub with it, it is gross to clean your tub after though!

  • A & D it cures just about everything and we love it in this house. From heat rash  to dry elbows.
