  • I don't know, Bush sent me a check last year and I was still pretty harsh about things. I mean it was cool of him and all but...He still went to war without good intelligence so I hardly considered things even. People are going to need more than a check to come around for Obama too. Especially because so many people are cautious about his spending plans. I think he'll do great and am a big supporter, but I know it will take more than cash to turn most people around!

  • No, he wouldnt be my friend if he sent me a big fat check.

Money is nice but it doesnt make or break a friendship.

  • I don't care if he does send out money. As a leader I do not like his policies. I have no clue what he is like as a person though.

  • He can't buy my friendship or respect. Let's see if he doesn't screw the country up more. Then, maybe I'll be a supporter.

I'll still cash that check though!

  • Personally I'm very proud of America for electing him. He was and IS my choice. I don't care about a check. I'm not that shallow! But I love this man. He is the chance America needs. And so far, he's doing GREAT!!

    GO OBAMA!!!

  • No because my children and grandchildren would have to pay it back so, no putting my kids in further debt would not make him my friend. But, he couldn't do that anyways, he is sending American money overseas so, we won't see it.

  • I didn't vote for Obama, but he is the president and I will support him. That said, I'd sure like a nice big fat check, and would be thankful, but my friendship is not for sale. If I met the man personally, I would probably like him. Most presidents are likeable sorts or they wouldn't have got so far in politics in the first place. But it wouldn't have anything to do with the money.
