  • a g tube 9is a tube inserted through the skin into the stomach. the babies feeding are put through it. this is done for kids who can not eat for numerous reasons.

  • yea, a g-tube stands for gastic tube. what it is, it's a tube that's placed in a person's stomach to promote adequate nutrition for that person. some people get it because they can't swallow, either it be for stroke or gag reflex. some people can't take alot of food so they may throw up, so to prevent that they give the food directly into the stomach

  • It can be also used for people with dysphagia ( a swallowing disorder).
