  • for a child it's $1000. You can get more if you qualify for EIC.

  • I wish people would stop asking these silly question. There is no magic number. There are many facts that play into it such as how much money was withheld, total income, extra earnings and deductions, etc. Just fill out the forms and see where you end up.

  • it's dependent on your actual income and all the other deductions one person will get the same amount back.
