Has this happened to anyone else the farther along you go in pregnancy?

Hip pain happening more often?

  • Yeah, in my first pregnancy.

    The ligaments holding your hips together are getting looser so that your hip bones can spread apart. That, and your baby is gaining weight.

  • Yes it does. Try a little bit of stretching, it helped me some.

  • I did really bad with my daughter. She road so low that my hips would grind together. It hurt to walk long distances.

  • mine was my cyatic (sp?) nerve more than my hips.

  • mine does it all the time it hurts from my hip all the way down to my foot some times. and if i sit on a hard surface or bend over for too long. my dr said it was the baby pushing on my sciatic nerve. propping my feet up while laying down flat helped, and now that the baby has turned its not as bad

  • Oh god yes..esp with twins. I lived in warm baths..ugg! Also have hubby rub them for you.
    Walking helps..and prob stretching too.
