  • I would suggest a little Cortizone cream, or Eucerin.

My youngest daughter gets like that sometimes, and a couple of days of Eucerin usually works.

  • All three of my girls had tht problem...and three different pediatricians reccomended Aquaphor. Cortizone is no longer reccomended for children under 6 (it can cause heart problems) Aquaphor is made by the eucerin company specifically for chapped skin. You can find it in the baby section at Wal mart or ask you pediatrician for a sample.

  • What we do (because this happens to my son when the weather is dry) is we use Aveeno for Babies Lotion (with dark blue cap) on his cheeks (he can't use eucerin he is allergic to it). We also use a humidifier in his bedroom at night. This clears it up overnight. And when the weather is just constantly dry we use the humidifier every night to keep it from coming back I am sure that most of it is the humidifier though, you could probably use any thick lotion...Hope that helps!!
