  • I was told you have to get on the top and jus take over do it like you was wanting to for years. Don't do it doggy style or lay on your back that's how you create girls that's how i got prego with both of my girls

  • The Chinese fertility charts seem to "work" the best.
But there is no secret that works. Think about it. For millions of years, boys have been more valued than girls. If there was a special position, special diet, special anything that worked - do you really think there would be roughly the same number of girls and boys born around the world? Especially in China where they can only have one and boys are much more highly valued?

  • Boy sperm are fast swimmers, but die of quickly. Girl sperms are slower swimmers, but live longer.

So, for a boy try for deeper penetration and conception the day OF ovulation. For a girl, more shallow penetration and a day or 2 off of your ovulation date.

No guarantees either way, though. :-)

  • Yeah, and like kaycee said... the Chinese Birth chart is accurate a good percentage of the time --- the TRICK to it, though... is that you can't use your actual age. It's calculated by the mother's LUNAR age... so find that out first....

  • The whole postion thing comes from the Shettle's Method which has been disproven by many studies. The only studies that showed it was successful were done by Shettles himself. No one has been able to replicate his results. His theory on conceiving a boy is this:

Shettles Theory to Conceive a Boy

    • Use sexual positions with deep penetration, this gives preference to the supposedly faster, but less hearty Y-bearing sperm.

    • Have sex as close to ovulation as possible, to take advantage of the speed of the Y-bearing sperm.

    • Women should have orgasms when trying to conceive a boy, and preferably at the same time as their partner.

  • There's actually a group on here called 'Choose the sex of your next baby' that could probably give you a lot of good insight. One thing I've been reading too though is that it's not all about position (they say use deep penetration positions) and timing of sex (day of ovulation) but that the women's ph level has to do with it too. If you are more acidic you'll favor girls because it'll kill off the male sperm. Being more alkaline favors the male sperm, which is why they say to orgasm if you want to conceive a boy because that makes it more alkaline. Also you can eat certain foods to change the ph level (ie. bananas). The chinese calendar has never worked for me, it said I'd have a boy... I have 2 girls!

  • Sorry,...you take your chances. 50-50 no matte what you do.

Only ONE guaranteed way to get a boy, but i don't think you can find a lab to do this...at least not without HUGE expense....get your hubby's sperm separated and get artificially inseminated with the Y sperm.
