  • I saw her not that long ago, she said she wasn't going to be on today because they are having people over for her son's birthday.

  • There was some controversy about recipe stealing - a lady from a recipe site made a profile here because she found out that the recipe she'd posted on that site had been copied here word for word. Another mom confronted, via pm, about it. In Elaine's words, yadda yadda yadda. Long story short, ever since that day she's laid low.

  • ^big deal...people copy recipes all the time! that's why they are there, for people to use (copy). now, if she'd copied and published them, there might be a 'controversy'.
    heck, i c/p a drink recipe directly from a website..if they don't want people to use them like that, they wouldn't post them.

    i could swear i saw her post something just yesterday, OP. i think she's fine.

  • ^^Usually I agree with you but it was a big deal in this case because the other lady had won a major food contest with the recipe and she was accused of stealing it from Christmaslover. She only wanted someone to link where they got the recipe but the mom here said no way because it was her own recipe.

  • That still sounds crazy to me, if I post a recipe online I would expect people to use it, if they won a contest with it, GREAT! I don't get it.
