Pms funk

I have had to literally isolate myself from people lately I am so grumpy. Not just grumpy but mean. I got sick so I didn't eat for 3 days, that's part of it, but I have also been bleeding so heavily nonstop. I know my system is out of wack. It doesn't give me the right to act like a total bitch but I just want it to stop. I ate and had 10 hours of sleep, cleaned and got everything I needed to get done. I am now making lunch for SO. I will act nice when he gets here but everything is bothering me, I feel uncomfortable and I want to get out of this yucky mood! Suggestions? Thanks

  • I remember those days! At least you're aware of why you're in a bad mood, lol

Then comes Menopause!!! That's where I'm at! I hate all the friggin mood swings, hot flashes and everything else that go along with it!
My fault because I refuse to take estrogen for it...I'm determined to go through this without it. My poor husband's. LOL

  • I'm a little late here but to be perfectly honest, when I was taking Zoloft, I was a miserable, grumpy, DEPRESSED (hmm, thought it was supposed to help with that?) and totally stressed out zombie. I didn't sleep on it either and it gave me terrible anxiety. It was way worse than normal hormone fluctuations. And I got fat, which made me even more grumpy and depressed. Getting off of that was the best thing I ever did for my health, sanity and family. I don't take anything now and haven't been depressed since. I eat healthy now that I don't have carb cravings and sugar cravings that control me, and my brain has relearned how to make my own natural seratonin. Getting off of that is a nightmare, and you will have depression as a withdrawl symptom but it's well worth it IMO. Good luck!
