  • It is cosidered yelling, however I asked this same question once and was told that some older women have trouble seeing so the have to use caps so they can see the type better. Or....some are just plain ignorant.

  • To show emotion perhaps? Because they're excited on an important reply or question! You can't see anyone's face or expression so I think its to show that! To show emotion, care, get attention on a important topic! Myself I don't care how things are written. I care to add my 2cents & hopefully help!! Maybe its just their own original style!??

  • I've ALWAYS wondered that, ugh. It's almost more annoying than typing in all caps. You can't have the best of both worlds, ack!

  • I am usually at work when i am on here and the patient data has to be entered in all caps, so I usually just leave it on so if a patient comes in I just switch screens and don't have to worry about forgetting the stupid caps lock. I didn't realize it bothered anyone

  • Probably just a habit of hitting the shift key. I type fast but I always go back over it and correct any spelling or grammatical mistakes that I have made if I catch them. I have a high standard for myself but I don't usually dog on other people.
