I just wanted to share my happiness

I don't know if any of you know we had custody of my ex best friends daughter almost 3 years ago ( for abt 6 months). We still have her every weekend and several times during the week ( she lives with her great grandma now ). Well she is graduating this year and we are going shopping for prom dresses in a few weeks. I am so proud of her she's graduating with high honors, she has come so far these past few years and we do call her our daughter. I am just elated for her, this weekend we started filling out college applications. Sorry I just wanted to boast a little bit,mi love her to death :)

  • Thanks everyone. I love that girl to pieces. The only reason she is with grandma is because cps wanted her with family ( which is fine they only live 3 blocks away LOL). But i do my best to help out her grandma as well because shes 88 yrs old we are all actually very close. I just couldnt be any more proud of her, when she came to us she was failing everything and has just improved by leaps and bounds once she got away from her abusive mother.
