  • As many as they want. DD took a long morning nap (3 hrs +) and a long after noon nap until she was about 2 1/2 along with going to bed at 7pm

  • My son was taking 3. But the best thing to look it is how much total sleep they're getting, including night and naps. As long as they're getting 14-15 hours throughout the day, it doesn't matter how many naps it's spread over; they can sleep 9 hours at night and take two 3-hour naps, or sleep 10 hours at night and take three 1.5-hour naps, or take a long nap in the morning and a short one in the afternoon, whatever combination works for them.

  • My 5 month old takes several catnaps throughout the day... usually no longer than an hour each
