Hair question!!!!!!!!!

I dye my hair back to its original color( dark brown) (before was reddish medium brown). And now I want highlights over the dark brown, SO I DON'T HAVE TO COLOR MY HAIR NEVER AGAIN, JUST DO HIGHLIGHTS.
My question is: the color of the highlights will be the same over my dye hair and the new virgin hair will grow later?

  • You can't lift color with color,, and having no idea what you used I would say a salon visit is in order, the re-growth can possibly get "hot" roots,, and the dye may not lift out of the rest of it.. hairstylist here.

  • It will fry your hair overprocessing it. Just let it grow out to your original color and add highlights. Its best to use a highlift, its less damaging.
