Baby Shower Activities and Games

I used this game at my babyshower and everyone seemed to enjoy it. You buy candy bars all different kinds and melt one candy bar and rub onto a diaper and do the same thing to however many diapers u want but have a different candy bar in each one and have ur friends try to guess what kind of candy is melted in the diaper. Its gross looking but they all had fun.

buy several kinds of baby food. Spoon some of each type on plate, pass around and see who can guess the right flavor.

1. Have them guess how long a piece of string would fit around your belly, they all cut their own piece, then they wrap it around your belly, the closest one wins.
2. Partner up guests, then time them trying to put a clothe diaper on a teddy bear, each one can only use one hand (cannot switch hands after they start). time them the fastest pari wins.
3. A bowl of rice with those tiny gold safety pins mixed in. Hold the bowl over there head and have them fish out as many saftey pins as they can in a minute the one with the most wins. No peeking.
4.Put different baby items on a tray. Show the items to everybody, cover it up , and see who can write down the most items from memory. Use alot of dif items like 15 or so.(nipples, pacifier, baby oragel, bootie, etc.

oh and babyshower bingo is a good one towo. bingo sheets with various different baby items. Each guest marks the item on their card as you open presents. First one to get Babyshower BINGO gets a small gift. We did bath and body works hand lotions, etc.

My friend recently had her baby shower and she had a game where we had to guess how many sheets of toilet paper would fit around her belly and it was easier than the string b/c they measured her belly before hand so all we had to do was call out how many sheets we had guessed. She also had Baby Bingo and she put Skittles into a baby bottle and had us guess how many were inside. They had a word scramble that (I assume) they printed off line and the safety pin game where if someone said,"baby" you took her pin. Lastly, just for fun, she had people write down when they thought the baby would be born, time, birth weight and length. It was just to see if anyone could get close to the exacts:)

If the friends/family are remotely crafty - get a bunch of plain white bibs with color trim and have everyone use fabric paint pens to decorate a bib for the baby. (If they're really crafty, send them out early and have everyone embroider/cross stitch one, but you need the right group of people for that to work)

1. taste test and guess the baby food favor (just fruits and veg if you wanna be nice)
2. guess how many inches your tummy is
3. get a bunch of stats on babies/ pregnancy from the guinness book of world records and do a trivia game
4. ask everyone to bring a baby pic and try to match them with the people.. cool to see the baby-to-be's heritage too!
5. make/ buy a pin the diaper/bottle/bonnet on the baby game...
6. you could do a pinata!
7. bring old maternity shirts you dont liek from home. make teams and tell them to stuff it to look preggers, the realest looking team gets a prize...

- Diaper the Baby- take 2 baby dolls, 4 reclosable diaper, 2 blindfolds, and a stopwatch. two at a time the guests race to undiaper & rediaper their doll blindfolded. fastest one wins the prize.

-Preggie Tummy- blow up a bunch of balloons the night before. Guests compete to see who can stuff the most balloons under their shirt.

-Baby Food Taste Test- buy baby food and remove the labels. Challenge your guests to guess the baby food flavor. We did this with fruit (yum) and veggies :(

-Guess the baby item- wrap several baby items and have the guests try to guess what they are just by feel
