How long did it take for you to conceive?

We are trying to conceive #3 and have never had to try before. How long did it take for you to conceive after deciding to?

  • 1 month the first time. 9 months the second. 3 months the 3rd time and 6 months the 4th time. The first 3 were miscarriages, so it took a total of about 3 years to actually have a baby.

  • 8 months with my daughter - 12yrs old now, 2 months with my son- 10 years old now and 4 months with ttc now- still not pregnant, my husband and I decided that it was time to have another , crazy huh... lol

  • I wasn't "trying" with my first. With my 2nd I went off BC and got pregnant that same cycle and with my daughter I got pregnant while taking the pill.

    Apparently my dh don't have any fertility problems...

  • With my first 3 pregnancies I didn't 'try'. It took me over a year to concieve my first and I thought I couldn't concieve (I was also 16 and dumb and had my period for about a year and a half at the time). Pregnancy #2 came within a few moths of starting sex. Pregnancy 3# was the same. not trying,but pregnant after very little sex and a short time. Pregnancy #4, the one I TRIED for, took over a year!

  • Well with my first son 6ths. My second 1month. My 3rd 8months. Now we are on our 2nd month trying for baby 4.
