video card

my computer froze and it says no video input, does that mean i need a new video card and does it cost alot of money.....

  • You do not need a new video card.

    "No video input" is usually an error message your monitor gets when your computer is off.

    Try turning off your computer, unplugging it, from the power strip letting it sit for a few minutes and then plugging it back into the power strip and turning it back on.

    It helps to keep a pencil & pad of paper next to your computer - write down what you were doing when you get an error and exactly what the error message is.
