I absolutely love the show Once Upon A Time, but as a mother through adoption, I often find myself irritated at the main character (Birth-Mother) and how she sneaks around behind the back of the mayor (Adoptive-Mother) to spend time with the child she adopted out at birth (now around 10). BMom constantly oversteps any boundary that AMom sets up and she tells AMom there is nothing she can do about it and, in the scenes for next week's show, BMom told AMom that she was going to get her son back.
I know it's just a fictional show, but it is doing nothing positive for the BMoms in the world of adoption...already so many people think that BMoms will go all crazy and stalk them and/or try to get the child back (I know this personally because I have heard it SOOO many times myself from people). Already it is said that AParents often close an Open Adoptions after the slightest hint of trouble or overstepping boundaries by the BMom because they worry about what she might do. And here is this show showing a BMom doing exactly what AParents fear.
Am I the only member of an adoption triad...or at least someone who actually understands how adoption really works...that gets irked by this show (albeit not enough to stop watching because I do love the show...just not that part of it)?

Next question overall
Does your child have to be potty trained before going into a headstart program?
