What happens to a tattoo on your side when you get preggo?

I figure it would stretch but would it go back to normal after the baby?

  • Not if it has any stretch marks through it.

  • probably won't go back to normal. My SIL has one has a dolphin on her side, and now it looks like a beached whale with lines through it. She gave birth 5 years ago and lost all the weight, too.

  • Like Rebecca said it will be fine if you get lucky and don't get stretch marks through the tattoo itself.

Anon: Those lines that are through your sisters dolphin are the stretch marks.
