  • lol i asked the same question, when someone says "bump" on answers, it means being prego or something but if they do it in groups, it makes more sense they want to bring a post back that didnt get many replies, so when you "bump" it, it puts the post back up to the first page instead of the last page if it got buried.

  • Bump is when you just post a post that is empty or says Bump to raise the post to the first page of questions or top of the list. The posts are listed from the ones that had the most resent reply and if you Bump the post you are basically moving the post up.

  • "Bump" is a way of moving a post to the top of the pile rather than let it sink out of sight on other pages. As people post in other threads, threads that haven't been posted in a while drift down. If the member doesn't have anything to add to a thread, she just writes Bump.
