I do when I am looking for a gift for my mom. Especially when I want to get her something she wouldn't normally buy for herself. She likes blue birds, so anything with those usually goes over well (good quality, not cheap looking). Also it's fun to look over the jewelry although I have never bought any from an antique shop. Old linens are cool as well. I don't really do much shopping like that, I am a minimalist at heart and don't do knick knacks often.

I do. I collect Mexican Folk Dolls a very specific waxed canvas type and my daughter collects miniature glass animals by a specific artist. We are always so happy when we find something. Although don't dismiss Goodwill I found 4 of my dolls for 50 cents each at a Goodwill in Seattle. But I also buy old brooches and sometimes something beautiful catches my eye that I just can't live without.
