whats for dinner tonight? something easy, fast, wonderful!

any ideas? I usually love to cook, but today i am in a funk. what should i make?

  • I dont know how wonderful this is....but I am thinking chicken fingers and stove top....I am kinda in a "funk" too....and when my dh works late I dont "cook"

    I just make something good the kids like.

  • We are going to have soup and grilled cheese. It's easy and quick. Plus, DH is working outside today, so he'll need something hot to warm him up.

  • we are having Garlic Ranch turkey burgers (easy)
    sweet potato fries
    and a huge with everything in it green salad...
    Not an ahh haaa meal but it's all I could come up with today

  • I am making a pork tenderloin and I don't know what else I will make. We really need to go shopping so the side dish options are quite limited. We have instant mashed potatoes, which I can deal with if I have gravy, but I don't think I do. We're out of rice also. Maybe I will make pasta and top it with the pork tenderloin . . . I'll see soon enough!

  • I'm browning a pound of ground beef, adding a jar of beef gravy to that, and pouring it over Bob Evans mashed potatoes! Serving with a salad, and ta-da! Dinner. Not the absolute best, but yummy comfort food and very quick and easy to make!

  • I'm making fried rice from last night's stir fry. I love making too much rice so I have enough leftover for fried rice the next night! lol I take my chef's knife and chop up the meat & veggies, add more water chestnuts, just because I love 'em, and add to the rice. Some sesame oil, green onion, soy sauce, and egg and there's some terrific fried rice!
