Hello mommies how do you meet other moms in your area to have play dates with?

we moved to a different part of town and i have no friends over here and i would love to meet moms who like to have play dates i have an 8 month old girl and i am a stay at home mommy

  • try meetup.com and look for groups moms groups in your area. Thats what I did when I moved to a new area and met a lot of people.

  • Go to the libray's story hour and also check out their bulletin board for activities. Meetup.com for playgroups and moms groups as amy mentioned too

  • Great ideas from everyone. We all know how our homes can become caves when we stay there all the time :) Library storytime is fantastic, and also MOPS international is fantastic so meeting mommys that can jumpstart future playdates. Alot of churches have them internationally and do cost some money but the cost is very low and if money is an issue, there are scholarships available :) Good luck to you!
