  • This Is what we use for most cleaning (initially used as part of my daughter's 6th grade science fair project). It is cheap (my favorite) and non-toxic.
    1/4 cup white vinegar
    3/4 cup warm tap water
    1 tablespoon baking soda
10 drops of tea tree oil (antibacterial, antifungal, etc.)
2 drops oil of lavender essential oil (optional) (antiseptic and smells nice)
For extra scrubbing, I make a paste with salt, baking soda and vinegar.

  • It would depend on the type of tub.

  • I have a fiberglass tub - I use Borax and warm water.

  • The best I have ever found is bleach and to use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser...

  • I cheat and use Scrubbing Bubbles. I love them. I also use our Jupiter Hospital Window cleaner. It is ammonia, 90% isopropyl alcohol, and water. It works to clean just about anything, actually almost everything.

  • Method it's earth friendly, I can't use the other cleaners listed above. I also like soft scrub foaming without bleach. We have a plastic shower and a stone tub.
