Low carb diet and.. ahem! adult content

I don't understand what's going on since I started a low-carb diet.. I've been eating tons of veggies, meat too.. and I'm constipated. This really sucks, I'm so bloated and feel like I'm getting no results since I'm not going to the bathroom.

Anything I can add to my diet? I'm thinking of taking a laxative but I'm having people over for dinner and don't want any sudden bathroom runs to happen.

Ugh! Help, please!

  • If you are doing Atkins, you have to watch what vegetables you eat. Also make sure your meats and cheeses are FULL FAT. All the fat is what "lubricates" your digestive tract, so to speak.

  • Shouldn't need a laxative. Have you been drinking a lot of water? That should help and is recommended with this diet. Prune juice should help if you're really trying to be healthier without chemicals as will a fiber drink. If you've increased your cheese intake it could be a factor.
