I had to giggle a little when I seen the post about the mom flipping her teen daughter the bird.

Ok, so I do have to chuckle a little when I seen that video posted on here. If you have a teen age kid you know what she was feeling. I love my teen boys, but man oh man can they test me. I don't see any thing wrong with what she did. However if she feels she has to repeat it and do it every morning, like a ritual then maybe she needs help. I know I have caught myself doing it behind their back when they walk away. They haven't seen me do it, and their not like us moms with eyes on the back of our heads. When they piss me off so bad and I feel like just cursing at them, I hold it in. I quickly flip them the bird behind their back and say something under my breath, that I would have really wanted to say to them. Its like a relief. I guess you would have to be a mom to a teen age that has a mouth on them to understand. Nothing wrong with it, as long as she isn't doing this every day. If so, then something else might be going on.

  • Thankfully I don't have teens. When I do I am sure I will flip them the bird (where they can't see me) just like they will most likely flip me the bird when I am not looking as well. I don't think I would flip them off to their face though, it is just as bad as cussing at them.

  • I do it to my husband all the time. Haven't done it to my kids yet... but they are still young, I have plenty of time :p

  • I believe I've flipped mine the bird a time or two. Usually when they were teenagers, behind their back.

  • I've done it behind my tween's back. His mouth... ugh. Sometimes it's just what I need to relieve stress.
