  • Yes, how are they to know that they want to marry someone if they have no experience with getting to know a person. Part of dating is getting to know a person and discovering what they want in a mate.

  • Of course. Casual dating not only allows you to get to know what type of people you prefer, but also allows you to get to know yourself better. Casual dating often turns in to more, but only when it's right. If it's not the right person, marriage shouldn't be in the picture anyways!

  • I'm on the fence - casual dating usually means casual sex which is definitely not okay IMO. I tend to lean more to the courtship side.

  • Why not? Even if you don't believe in premarital sex, you can date casually. If you don't date, how do you know what kind of person you want to marry?
