Water breaking question.

Is it possible for your water to break on its own without being dialated at all?

  • Yes, this happened to me the first time. Water broke at 36 weeks 3 days, no labor, not dialated, nothing. See you doctor if you think it's happened to you. Also, it can be a small trickle, sometimes there's just a small rip in the bag of waters, it doesn't have to be a big gush.
