  • Honestly we all have different hair. DH has really light brown hair, my natural hair color is a medium auburn. DD was born with RED hair that has changed to strawberry blonde. DS was born with almost black hair and it is now dark reddish brown. So I guess my red tint is dominant since both kids got the reddish in their hair, just in different shades.

  • What I find very amusing is that my DH has a recessive eye color (blue), I have green (which isn't THE dominant color-brown is-but is it more dominant that blue). Yet both of my kids have blue eyes.

  • Brown I guess, but we have a lot of blondes, too. Even though DH is half Japanese, he was blonde until he was about five and now his hair is of our daughters is blonde, another has auburn hair, and only one of our children has dark hair and obvious Asian features. I have dark brown hair, but two blonde brothers. Apparently our "dominant" brown gene folds like a cheap suit with a little pressure LOL
