I grew up in churches that teach the rapture and always believed it. I have since studied on my own (God says seek me and you will find me) and no longer believe in the rapture pre-tribulation. Why would we be taken up BEFORE and not have to suffer for what we have done? I have tons to say on this subject. I do believe that we are living in the end times because of prophecy.
Also, the Left Behind series is all about the rapture happening at the beginning of the tribulation and millions of people read these books, so there are obviously millions that believe in it. The authors are Christians that wrote the books based on their interpretation of scripture.
