I don't know where you live, but some of the malls open early to allow people to go in and walk for exercise - it's cooler and safer for women walking alone. Also - Leslie Sansone makes Walk Away the Pounds dvds that might be ok - but of course you'd check w/your dr first. Her dvds are 4 basic moves - walking in place, front kicks, knee lifts and side steps. She has a variety of routines from 1 mile to 5. They are sold on-line and at Target and Walmart. You can also preview her stuff on the Collage Video web site. Like the previous poster said, I'm sure swimming would be good too - non-impact and cooler that strolling around your neighborhood!
