Do you take it? Do you feel it's considered a bad drug?
My mother was suppose to start statin (I think that's how you spell it) and it's for her high blood pressure. Well, I say she suppose to because she didn't take it yet.
She says it's a bad drug that can cause other major health problems. So I am wondering if anyone is taking it.
She is looking for more healthier alternative. I said, Ganoderma Lucidium helps. She rather take that and did for a couple weeks, her pressure came down -10 of what it was..can't remember what she said. She refuse to take the Statin. I hope she will be okay.

I think you are both confused. Statins are used to lower cholesterol levels. Statins are a class of cholesterol lowering medications sold under names like Levacor, Zocor, Pravachol, Lipitor, Crestor, and more. If she has high blood pressure then taking the correct pressure medication far outweighs the risks of the drugs when taken correctly & monitored by a Physician. High blood Pressure unaddressed can lead to kidney failure (dialysis), heart attacks, stroke & more. Maybe go with her for her next Doctors appointment if she is confused by what the Dr. says. GL!
