in one of my groups and people went nuts! They said it was an entitled attitude, I'm rude, etc etc. I guess I look at it as proper etiquette and a wonderful thing to acknowledge the birthday child with AT LEAST a card, balloon, home made picture. Something! Don't come empty handed. So rude!!! Thoughts on that?Answer Question

I would never go to a party without a gift, but, one should never be expected. I don't expect gifts for my kids at their parties. I just want people to come celebrate. If you're throwing a party hoping to get gifts, don't throw a party.
