WYR: Prepaid or contract phone?

Prepaid. I don't even have a phone now but if I ever get one again it'll be prepaid

I'd take back my old tracfone any day. I got stuck w/ the Verizon bill when my boys' father passed, & it's too much $$ if you ask me.

Contract for me, prepaid for my 10 year old.

i would say prepaid because its like waay cheaper!! prepaid has some pretty good plans to!

Pre-paid because it is WAY cheaper here to do Metro PCS vs. a contract by like 50-100 dollars a month

I have a prepaid I get unlimited texting and 250 minutes a month for 25$. I almost never use my phone. I mostly just want it in case of emergency etc. I could care less about all the internet fucnctions cuz I have a nice computer at home. When I'm out I'm usually driving and running errands so it's not like I can't wait til I get home. If you just use your phone when you need to prepaid is a good money saving option but if you're addicted to all the extra features of an Iphone and are updating stuff 24/7 or constantly texting and IM ing or using the web browser a lot I would go for a contract.

Contract T-Mobile

I JUST left my contract with Sprint after 8 years for a prepaid with most of the same features...over $30 less a month! I went from paying $77 to $46. They even run on the same network. I got to take my number, too. The only thing I DON'T like is that it sounds like if I switch away from my prepaid phone now, I won't be able to keep my number and changing it is a hassle.
