Trying to lease a home and I have come to a head. The straw that broke the camels back was the last realtor I worked with. Thats right, "last". She is the 3rd one.
The first one was a referral from one of dh's friends. She said she'd help, but I never heard from her again. I reached out to her again and asked if she was still going to represent us, but nothing...so I moved on.
The second lady gave me the "grass is greener" attitude. She was better than the last Realtor. She was more experienced..blah blah blah.
It got close to april and she flaked on me. Says she would refer me to someone she knew.
I've been working with this one since april. I sent her a list of criteria and homes I felt met that criteria. In those e-mails I always thanked her for time and told her that because she was the expert I would follow her plan.
She had to chances to set up showings..she failed to come through both times. I was supposed to move this month....I am still in the same place.
She sent me a list of homes this morning and I replied by telling her that none of those meet my criteria because of the schools and the area.
She replied saying she didn't know that schools were important..so I forwarded the message back to her where I originally stated our criteria. Now she says she she doesn't think she can do this.
I don't get it. She's had time and opportunity, and I haven't changed up anything. All my criteria is the same as is was in the beginning.
Is it me?? Or am I working with the wrong company...yes these women all worked for the same company.
Being so close to the date I wanted to move I feel like I am between a rock and a hard place. I either pay a ridiculous amount of money every month for a 3/2 apartment (in my area I am looking at 13-1700 @ month) or I try and find another Realtor, but that person won't have as much time and I feel it will be stressful to them.
**Will a the sellers realtor work directly with me? Without a realtor? Is that wise?
