If your 2yo has yogurt for breakfast, do you still give them milk to drink or do you count the yogurt as their dairy serving?

  • I usually served water at meals if their calcium was being met by the food served.

  • i'd give my kid milk if that's what they wanted. mine get more than enough dairy a day but whatever

  • I would give milk if they wanted it. If not, fine, I never counted up their dairy servings. They drink a ton of milk.

  • My kids get 2 cups/milk a day and one other dairy. Sometimes it's 2 servings at one time, other times it's spread out over the day.
